DMT OXY
Fast, lightweight and ultra-breathable: introducing the DMT Oxy for Triathlon
Not only road and off-road, DMT is also focusing on triathlon. Between the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026, it worked on a new top-of-the-range model aligned with the excellence and complexity of the discipline. The result, also thanks to collaboration with world-class triathletes, is the new DMT Oxy, improved in every key aspect compared to the previous model.
The Oxy aims to have no weak points, focusing on aerodynamics and lightness – at just 217 grams (size 42), it is one of the lightest on the market – while ensuring continuous foot ventilation and excellent water drainage.
The upper is made with materials and finishes suited to UV exposure and saline environments, making it ideal for prolonged use in extreme conditions. The minimalist design is easy to wash and quick to dry. Engineered micro-perforations ensure continuous breathability and effective water drainage.
Following athlete feedback, the Oxy features a rear technical hook to optimize the transition from water to bike. This allows pre-positioning the shoe on the pedals for instant wear after the swim, saving precious seconds in competition.
Another innovation is the introduction of Dimple Tech in the upper, with a micro-textured surface that improves real aerodynamics by reducing wind resistance.
The sole has also been upgraded: a Full Carbon sole with a 30% lower stack than the previous KT1 model. This ensures better foot-pedal connection and improved biomechanical efficiency for maximum power transfer.
The closure uses Velcro for speed, and includes an interchangeable bi-component rear cleat. Two colors are available: White-Chalk and White-Angel Falls.
In recent years, DMT has strengthened its presence in triathlon through collaboration with international athletes such as Csongor Lehmann, Frederic Funk, and Gregory Barnaby.
