HERO SÜDTIROL DOLOMITES 2025: THE TOUGHEST MTB MARATHON IN THE WORLD
On June 14th, 2025, the spectacular mountains of Val Gardena will host a new and highly anticipated edition of the HERO Südtirol Dolomites, the mountain bike marathon considered one of the most challenging and iconic in the world.
Riders can choose from three routes: 86 km / 4,500 m D+, 71 km / 4,100 m D+, and 60 km / 3,200 m D+, all set in the UNESCO World Heritage landscape of the Dolomites. DMT will be present as an official sponsor, with a dedicated booth inside the HERO Village and plenty of activities for off-road performance lovers.
A CHALLENGE FOR REAL HEROES
The HERO is not just another race. It's a test of endurance, determination, and technical skill, designed for riders who aren't afraid of elevation gain and dream of conquering the highest peaks.
The 2025 edition also sees the return of the AVIREX HERO Challenge, a timed climb within the course.
For the 86 km and 71 km routes, the climb leads to Zallinger (3.5 km / 300 m D+), while for the 60 km course, the challenge runs from Lupo Bianco to Passo Sella (3.6 km / 510 m D+).
