DMT’s Research & Development department works across all disciplines and terrains. In triathlon, the working philosophy is different: it is necessary to ensure an immediate fit and optimal power transfer. Transitions after exiting the water must be quick, and triathletes look for lightness and stiffness. Ventilation must be continuous, as well as water drainage.

AMASSADORFrederic Funk

German triathlete born in 1997, he grew up in a triathlon family and started racing at five, emerging in middle-distance events. European champion in 2021, he achieved a major result with second place at the 2023 Ironman 70.3 World Championships. Strong in cycling, he’s a rising star and a key athlete for DMT, contributing to the development of the OXY shoe.

AMASSADORGregory Barnaby

A triathlete from Verona born in 1991, he is among the best Italian athletes in long-distance racing. After starting in Olympic-distance events, he established himself internationally in long distance. Italian champion in 2021, he has also achieved notable results in Ironman races, including a podium in Israel in 2022. In 2024 he won the IRONMAN Pro Series and collaborates with DMT in product development.

AMASSADORCsonghor Lehmann

Hungarian triathlete born in 1999, raised in a family of athletes, he established himself from a young age by winning the junior world title in 2018 and the U23 title in 2021. Consistently among the elite, in 2024 he won the European Championship and competed at the Paris Olympics, finishing eleventh.
