5 Tours and a DMT Special Edition for Tadej

Tadej Pogačar. The Yellow Jersey. The Champs-Élysées. And a Special Edition of the Pogi’s Superlight.

This is already the fifth time DMT has had the privilege of accompanying the Slovenian champion to the top step of the podium every rider dreams of reaching. Each time brings a different, new emotion, yet one that reminds everyone of the extraordinary level this young man has reached: almost superhuman when he is on the bike, yet humble, approachable and always smiling once he steps off it.

DMT has been by his side since 2019, and today the Pogi’s Superlight is the brand’s top-of-the-range model. Over the years, different colourways and special editions have followed one another, each created to celebrate and tell the story of one of Tadej’s remarkable achievements. Whether it was the Tour de France, the Giro d’Italia, the European Championships or the World Championships, the Verona-based company has always been ready with bespoke customisations for the occasion.

This time, shining in the splendid setting of the Champs-Élysées was a Special Edition of the Pogi’s Superlight TDF “The Fifth” — understated and elegant, a perfect reflection of the Slovenian champion’s personality. The Tex Flex construction gives it a premium feel, while the five yellow dots, the yellow lacy, the “TDF Winner” wording and the number 5 inside the heel all pay precise tribute to the significance of yet another feat he has just accomplished.

The shoe is already available for purchase through DMT’s sales channels, with deliveries starting from 22 September 2026.

With this triumph, Tadej moves up to 5 Tour de France victories, joining the most successful riders in the history of the Grande Boucle: Jacques Anquetil, Eddy Merckx, Bernard Hinault and Miguel Indurain. “But I don’t like being part of circles…” he said immediately after the celebrations on the Champs-Élysées. And that comes as no surprise, because his mind is already set on the next goals, the next victories, and the next records.
